Ahmedabad, 15th May 2023: Defending champions Gujarat Titans (GT) led by Hardik Pandya defeated Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) by 34 runs in the 62nd league match of IPL 2023 at the Narendra Modi stadium. It also became the first team to reach the playoffs for the season.

Gujarat’s performance this season has also been like a champion, winning nine matches and losing four matches out of 13 matches played so far. At the same time, after this defeat, the Hyderabad team has now become the second team to be eliminated from the playoff race. Earlier, Delhi Capitals (DC) were also out of the playoffs.

Talking about the match, Gujarat Titans scored 188 runs for the loss of nine wickets in 20 overs while batting first. Opener Shubman Gill scored a brilliant century for Gujarat Titans.
